IST awarded $11 million cogeneration project

Toronto, Ontario - November 2, 2007:

Innovative Steam Technologies (IST), has been awarded a contract valued at $11 million to supply its Once Through Steam Generator (OTSG) units to East Windsor Cogeneration LP.

Under the terms of the contract, IST will supply two compact Once-Through Steam Generator (OTSG) units for steam production and will provide installation supervision related to their equipment. The new 84-megawatt East Windsor Cogeneration Centre (EWCC) will be a high efficiency gas-fired electric power and steam cogeneration facility located in Windsor, Ontario.

Upon substantial completion, scheduled for September 2009, the EWCC will provide electrical output to Ontario’s electricity market, and will also provide high-pressure and medium-pressure steam to the adjacent facilities of Ford Motor Company of Canada. East Windsor Cogeneration LP is a partnership between Pristine Power Inc. and Fort Chicago Energy Partners L.P.

“We are delighted to receive an order of this significance” said Bob Dautovich, President, Innovative Steam Technologies. “This project, combined with previous orders and other prospects, demonstrates IST’s growing strength in the North American market.”
